The joy of ageing is understated. In a youth obsessed society, we neglect the beauty and
joy that comes with growing older. My grandmother is a testament to this. Whenever I see her, I ask her, ‘Ma, how old do you feel?’ and she responds ’20 years old darling’.
What if we changed our perspective and showed gratitude for every day. Some days we
just survive, some days we thrive, but everyday we are alive. It is a gift, a privilege, that
we are all experiencing. Here is a documentation of my grandmother as she turns 92.
